I hope you all get off to a good start today with great ideas for posts in this community. Today, I’m sharing an illustration I created yesterday afternoon—a personal take on the character Devilman. It’s an anime and manga classic that I wanted to render in a more realistic, traditional style, using only blue tones. For the background, I used a worn-out blue marker and revived it with alcohol to give the blue hue a watercolor-like effect; I added the other details using colored pencils. I’m happy with the result, and I hope you like it too.
