Happy day, artistic friends from #sketchbook and all of #Hive! I hope you’re all doing well today and creating great artwork and posts. I’m starting my day with an illustration that I really enjoyed working on—and I’m even happier with the final result! I had an initial concept, but as I worked, I made a change: I turned one of the legs into a tail. I ended up liking it even more and am super pleased with how it turned out. It’s a humanized, Japanese-inspired take on the Cheshire Cat from Wonderland. Anyway, as always, I’ll show you the creative process.
