My 35th Instacart paycheck 💸 🛒

I had one of my worst weeks of Instacart earnings in quite some time to end the month of September. Not exactly what I would have asked for, but it is what it is.

I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.

I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.

Monday, September 18th

Monday was a slow day, but I did manage to get a few quick and easy orders. It may have not been the swift start to the week that I was hoping for, but at least I didn't get stuck with a $0 day.

I made about $44.68/hr on this day.

Tuesday, September 19th

No work because I was busy with other things on Tuesday.

Wednesday, September 20th

Wednesday was a pretty great day. The first order of the day was a regular customer of mine and they were so happy with how quickly I got everything to them. The woman's mother was visiting and they ordered hot dogs but the business didn't have coleslaw. Her mom cannot eat hot dogs without slaw, so I saved the day.

I made about $43.19/hr on this day.

Order number two was an excellent shop. It didn't take me long at all, despite it being at one of the stores that I rarely shop at. The woman I delivered to was getting groceries for her mom. She came outside to greet me and I was surprised to find out that she was an absolute MILF. Not only was she sweet and a good tipper, but she was freaking hot!

The last order of the day was this elderly couple. The old woman complimented my car as I pulled into her driveway. She said it was her favorite color and she seemed a bit surprised that it was mine, I guess she assumed I was driving somebody else's car. I threw in the towel after this one and was happy with the day overall.

Thursday, September 21st

Friday, September 22nd

No good orders for either day ☹️

Saturday, September 23rd

Although I woke up nice and early to get started on Saturday, I didn't get my first order until almost noon. It was a customer I had delivered to last week who was sick at the time. She appreciated that I remembered her and was so quick to deliver all of her stuff, thus she increased my tip by $10 for a total tip of about $22.50.

I made about $47.73/hr on this day.

The other two orders following the first were fairly simple and easy to deliver. I love when customers live out roads that are fun to drive. It never gets old driving around with the windows down listening to music and speeding through curves.

Sunday, September 24th

Sunday was shit. No other way to put it. I had one order all day long. I passed on close to 30 completely terrible orders. They were either high mileage, way too many items, or a low tip. It's as if the entire city all decided to be cheap at once.

I made about $46.45/hr on this day.

I spent the day watching my Dolphins score 70 points on the Broncos (sorry @broncnutz) and playing Titanfall 2 now that they've finally fixed the servers on that game. It was a good day overall, but in terms of making money it was god-awful.

End of week hours and pay 🤑

My weekly pay was about $220 and I worked just under 5 hours.

I made about $44.87/hr on average this past week.

There really is no telling what the week is going to be like with Instacart. Just when I think things are starting to pick up again now that summer is over, I have another horrific week where I barely had any work at all. Sigh... on to the next one starting tomorrow.
