We had lovely weather today and decided to do some walking with the kids. Since it was so warm they of course wanted ice cream.
So we went to their favorite spot, which of course is also my favorite, Taino's Homemade Ice Cream.
All of their ice cream is homemade, they even use some ingredients they grow themselves, like passion fruit or parcha.
They used to be located inside the Camuy Caves but since they are still closed due to hurricane damage, they opened up a spot on a local road.
The ice cream is delicious. It is not heavy, it is very refreshing. Did I mention it was $1.00 per scoop? Yup, can't beat that. My current favorite is spicy chocolate with corn and cinnamon sprinkled on top. Sounds a little weird and it's hard to explain, but it's so tasty.
Family favorites also include cookie monster (blue of course) strawberry, and pistachio.
So if you are ever in Puerto Rico, be sure to stop by, you won't regret it!
