Hello my weekend people, this time I chose point number one. Because I faithfully believe that this year 2022 has been quite controversial for many people around the world, not only for Venezuela.
Thank you friend @galenkp for once allowing us to be and participate in these initiatives that I really love, I look forward to Fridays to get away from work and take some time off and also to know the new points to write here.
I begin my post wishing that all people in this year that is at the beginning of its second semester are full of physical and mental strength as there are good days and bad days. That the world is constantly changing and this allows us as human beings to learn and educate ourselves in different areas both spiritually and professionally.
Since we are still in pandemic and the cases have not reached 0 (Zero) I think we all have that internal fear of getting sick, to attend a meeting, to go to a job interview and be underestimated in it, personally the biggest nostalgia starting this year is to lose my job that I won and in which I have worked with real vocation for 11 years.
I say that I won because 11 years ago to work for a public entity they made you take a knowledge test to see how prepared you were for the position. That day was difficult because I had to get up early, take the test with at least 100 other teachers. And believe it or not, I was #2 on the list of those who passed. Many people did not make it and that is a professional shock for many people who were left out and who today were never able to work in the public sector and enjoy certain benefits.
Today it fills me with nostalgia to see that in a few years of my future I will not be able to enjoy the benefits of my professional effort, that I will not have a well-earned and deserved retirement because I no longer have that job that I earned with so much effort.
Because it is really difficult to stay in a place where they do not value your dedication and effort, where you do not have the remuneration to encourage your work and thus feel even happier in it.
In a couple of years I will feel nostalgic for having lost my job, for which I fought so hard and what I liked so much, what I did for professional vocation because I also prepared myself a lot to exercise it in the best way, with the best tools and universities.
I will feel nostalgic because I lost friendships that I cultivated for years due to a crisis in my country and now there is a super big migration in my country. I can say that I am the only one left in Venezuela, my great friendships are now scattered in Spain, Argentina, Lima, Colombia and well that makes me very nostalgic because this month, which I call the "rumbero month" because it is my birthday, I find myself without any friends close to me. All of them far away but well kept and valued in my heart.
I will feel nostalgia because in the pandemic people very close to us lost family members such as their mother or grandparents and unfortunately we are not prepared to let our loved ones go and even less for a disease that came to harm the whole world both physically and mentally, they went to another plane to rest from illness and pain. And to help us understand that people are transitory, that they come into the world to teach us and make us live wonderful moments while they are by our side. Now it is time to let go and LIVE.
In a healthy way and prepare for the great and wonderful future that is to come...
