HiveFest XI goes Swarm: self-organized, one weekend - BCN, let's do this? - by
The post announces HiveFest XI transforming into a self-organized, community-driven event termed the Swarm edition. Barcelona is the anchor city with a weekend plan (Sept 17–20, 2026), while additional cities can host their own local swarm editions concurrently. Key rails include a Hive-based community hub, a single Telegram group, per-city Luma RSVPs, an on-Hive session board for talks, and a transparent tip jar. City captains will handle venue, day planning, and hosting duties, while fundraising and sponsorship are deliberately avoided. A volunteer bounty is offered to build an on-chain Swarm board (optional future enhancement). The author steps back to let the community run the event, inviting interested participants to claim cities, join the Telegram, and help organize.

The piece includes a comparison of original and enhanced images for each barn, reflections on their aesthetics (especially Barn 099), and ends with gratitude and closing notes about the author’s non-AI writing policy and photo credits.
