Post operatorio de chiquiliqui / Chiquiliqui post-operative care

Hola amigos feliz noche a todos espero que estén super bien , hace casi un mes esterilizamos a la gatita de mi vecina la cual ahora es básicamente mía ya que desde que la esterilice ella está conmigo en casa permanente, como les comenté en otro post la esterilización de chiquiliqui fue muy complicada y los cuidados que le enviaron en casa eran bastante complejos, lo bueno es que yo estudie un año para ser asistente veterinaria así que tengo los conocimientos suficientes para seguir las indicaciones de su veterinaria.

Almost a month ago we had my neighbor's cat spayed, and now she's basically mine since she's been with me permanently since I spayed her. As I mentioned in another post, Chiquiliqui's spaying was very complicated, and the care instructions they gave her at home were quite complex. The good thing is that I studied for a year to be a veterinary assistant, so I have enough knowledge to follow her vet's instructions.

Lo primero que hice fue ir a comprar todo su tratamiento le enviaron de antibiótico sultamisilina una vez al día por 6 días y le enviaron para el dolor Meloxipet una vez al día por 3 días , también debo comprar una solución de suero endovenoso ciclokaprom endovenoso y vitamina k , debía colocar vía endovenosa el ciclokaprom diluido en suero cada 8 horas e inyectar intramuscular una vez al día la vitamina k esto lo mandaron por 3 días seguidos, me tocaba levantarme de madrugada a colocarle el tratamiento así que puse alarma en mi tlf para ser muy puntual en sus horarios. Mi gato Bruno también fue castrado Pero a él solo le enviaron el antibiótico el medicamento para el dolor se lo colocaron inyectado.

The first thing I did was go buy all his medication. They prescribed the antibiotic sultamicillin once a day for six days and meloxipet for the pain once a day for three days. I also had to buy an intravenous saline solution, intravenous cyclokaprom, and vitamin K. I had to administer the diluted cyclokaprom intravenously every eight hours and give him an intramuscular injection of vitamin K once a day. They prescribed this for three consecutive days. I had to get up in the middle of the night to administer the treatment, so I set an alarm on my phone to be very punctual. My cat Bruno was also neutered, but they only prescribed the antibiotic; the pain medication was given to him by injection.

También le hice una faja pues era primordial que ella no se quitará los puntos eso sería fatal , seguir un tutorial de internet y con una camisa le hice su faja , otra situación que me preocupaba era que no quisiera comer Pero a penas reaccionó bien de la anestesia ella comió perfectamente, le hice una gelatina de patas de pollo con hígado de pollo , corazón y mollejas también le puse remolacha y espinaca quería ayudarla a recuperar energías.

I also made her a girdle because it was crucial that she didn't remove the stitches; that would be disastrous. I followed an internet tutorial and made her a girdle out of a shirt. Another thing that worried me was that she wouldn't want to eat. But as soon as she recovered from the anesthesia, she ate perfectly. I made her a gelatin dessert with chicken feet, liver, heart, and gizzards. I also added beets and spinach; I wanted to help her regain her energy.

Al tercer día está señorita se quitó la faja se la coloque 3 veces más y no le duraba ni un segundo así que decidí dejarla sin faja y menos mal no se quitó los puntos , su herida cicatrizo perfectamente la limpie con jabón neutro y coloque crema cicatrizante, a la semana ya está mas que perfecta le retire los puntos y ya ella estaba jugando y siendo una gatita feliz , al principio fue muy complicada Pero valió la pena , una cirugía muy difícil Pero un éxito post operatorio , le agradezco a su veterinaria por estar tan pendiente y ayudarnos en este camino .

On the third day, this little lady took off the bandage. I put it back on three more times, but it didn't last a second, so I decided to leave her without it. Luckily, she didn't pull out the stitches. Her wound healed perfectly. I cleaned it with neutral soap and applied healing cream. After a week, she was more than perfect. I removed the stitches, and she was already playing and being a happy kitten. At first, it was very complicated, but it was worth it. A very difficult surgery, but a successful post-operative period. I thank her veterinarian for being so attentive and helping us along the way.
