What is Hollywood?

Why is it that throughout much of the world we worship a town and society filled with mentally ill people. A town of pure egos. A town of people with straight up multiple personality disorders.

If I told you that in my spare time, as a hobby, I like to pretend I am many other people, how would you feel?

'Yeah you know I find it soooo fun to like pretend I'm other people. Male or female. Young or old. Evil or good. I even put on various types of costumes and like change my voice and everything! It's art yay!!'

Uh, what. Why is the ability to basically be deceptive and pretend you're something else, praised and respected?

If you heard me or some other person make that statement, would you think 'wow what a neat and artistic person!' or would it be more like 'holy crap that person is straight up NUTS' ?

Daniel Day-Lewis, sick pretends bruh! Dustin Hoffman, Jared Leto, Angelina Jolie, Heath Legder. These people act in character even after the director says 'cut!'. Method acting, I guess. Wow so cool and perfectly normal to continue to pretend you're someone else after you leave the set! Yay much praise!'

Gross.

Like I said previously, we as a society have come to enrich these mentally sick people. We have given them power and influence as well.

We live in a society where Jeffery Epstein and Harvey Weinstein could be creeps for years. These men were close to and friends with many many modern day celebrities and powerful people in general.

With Hollywood being such a huge thing in our world, and it being ran by sick sick people, what should we really believe?

Basically ask yourself what would an egotistical and mentally ill group of people be capable of? Yeah, it should scare you.

What is the difference between the movies and images and CGI we see in movies, and the news we see on television. Movies look pretty real with a good enough budget? Think about the budget for various news companies.

There are so many implications out of Hollywood when you consider that the people within it are actually insane.
