This painting is inspired by a photograph of Ed Peeters. The body language, the direct, inquisitive and at the same time spontaneous look of this child, provoked in me the desire to portray him. The green foliage that emerges from his hair is a tribute to the simplicity and naturalness transformed into life and movement.
