Hi,
Today I am expanding my ethereum mining facility with another 5x6 GPU rigs.
I know some who grow tomatoes as a living, I bought some tomato crates from them as the cards seem to fit perfectly into these.
It seems like it's getting harder and harder to get hold of the GPUs so I'm glad I got these atleast.
Tips&Tricks for those who want to start mining:
First of all you need the components:
1.Motherboard (There are alot but it needs 6 pci slots, asrock H81 Pro Btc 2.0 etc.)
2.Cpu(Depending on the motherboard, just check for a cheap Intel Celeron or Pentium, needs to match the motherboard, 1150/1151 is the cpu slots)
3.Ram (Same as with the cpu it needs to match the motherboard, ddr3 or ddr4, 4gb ram is enough.)
4.Psu(Needs to be big enough to match the total power consumption, 1200w should do it for 6x rx 570s, I do recommend the EVGA 1300W g2)
5.Gpu( I do recommend the 570/580 4/8Gb,but there are alot of different cards that works, I used the 570 8gb sapphire nitro+ in my recent rigs)
6.Frame( Anything will do where everything fits, google mining rigs for examples)
7.Risers(I do recommend powered USB-risers, check AliExpress or Ebay)
8.Startbutton(AliExpress or Ebay)
9.Screen, mouse and keyboard to setup the miner.
10.Harddrive(Whatever is the cheapest SSD, 64GB or higher)
Things to note:
1.Preferably place the miner in a cold room for it to keep cool.
2.Get a watt-meter to check the power consumption.
3.Check your fuses and powercords so they can handle it.(One 6x GPU rig shouldn't be a problem but if you plan on having more it probably needs bigger fuses.) 10A fuse=2300W=2x6xGPU rigs.
