Left Work Early To Sleep - My Actifit Report Card: January 9 2020
Feeling run down and a little ill yesterday and this evening, ended up leaving work early after only 2 hrs 🤦♂️
After work yesterday morning I ended up laying down and watching some Netflix, was feeling bagged and it was good to just cuddle with Jerry in bed for a few hours.
I had intended to do a vlog yesterday after work, when Mel got home I woke up long enough to take a couple pictures of my "studio" then make a few post then lay back down. Finding my setup to work quite well, using two light for color contrast on me vs the background.
I will be slowly filling my wall with things as a backdrop and possibly hanging a few posters across the shelving unit.... line up of packages yet to be unboxed so anyone watching knows its still to come 👌
It is a pretty decent little setup using my white adjustable computer desk light on the background and both my mobile GoPro lighting and the lamp on my desk for lighting me pointing at a 45 degree angle against the wall towards the corner.... less shadow on me vs the background adding depth of field with shadow from the packages on the wall while the wall itself remains a place to hang anything I want my viewers to see.... yea a lot of thought has gone into something so simple 😅 using the corner as a semi eye leader to me while remaining offset in the frame so I have a place for any image inserts.... I have a small table behind me holding the background light with a sheet hung just over our plants at the sliding glass door behind that, I want to block the light from outside as well as my light from going outside in the middle of the night but maintain a feeling of the stage and the red curtain 😎
Strange to think that with all my recording this is the first time I have had a dedicated space... soon a table will be bought for in front of the wall for all of Mel's puzzle action which will be included on the wall as background art work as we frame and hang them... the table will serve as my new package display simply storing any boxes underneath and staging on the table for I shoot... yeah that is right I stage my place but in a more organic homely feeling thus my grandma's home knitted blanket the packages are sitting on. Also hoping to use the table for unboxings but that depends on if we find a puzzle mat big enough for cheap... things either need to have dedicated space or server multiple functions and we lack the space so I have found ways of creating a functional space that can easily be expanded upon such as I have just enough room for one of those room divider green screens 🤔
Anyways... I go lay down for a bit 💤 then work on a few projects hopefully feel better for my next shift 🤞
