Greetings Steemit!
I started practicing yoga since 2014.
But my yoga journey was on and off. Due to study commitment when I was student, I seldom practicing yoga.
Among the things I learnt from yoga is the breathing. The breathing and calmness of doing yoga have brought me a peace and strength of mind that I thought I would never regain. When you come home from school or work and find it hard to sleep because you're always thinking about what left undone and what you could have done better, nothing beats learning how to concentrate on your breathing and a gentle stretch in bed.
Here are some pictures I would like to share based on what my sister and I learnt from the past few years, I guess. I hope while reminiscing those photos, I really hope that I can get back on track - practicing yoga :)
Acroyoga at the backyard
Scorpion pose and the buffaloes
Headstand - Sirsasana. In the supported headstand, the body is completely inverted and held upright supported by the forearms, while the crown of the head rests lightly on the floor.
My sister with headstand variation and cat
Excited dogs wanted to join too
Another headstand variation and that yogi cat
Honestly, it only last a few seconds XD
Argh! What are my excuses this time? work commitment? tight schedule?
