Hello, you will find attached my participation in [Cosmic Creations Edition #9 is LIVE: Create a book cover] @Alienhiveart. I saw
@juliakponsford/my-favorite-sci-fi-book-covers-some-inspo-for-cosmic-creations.
She did well to talk about it again, I skipped the challenge lol.
So as not to forget again I did it straight away. I generated 500 AI images to find what might interest me for my editing. I wanted to have an old book look and not a modern one. I am more than satisfied with my project. I didn't succeed in producing an alien head from the 60s and his space suit looks too contemporary. Afterwards, for the rest it suits me well.
The 5 images that will follow are the images that I used to make my montage, they are raw without cleaning any anomalies and the colors have not been changed either.
Exactly 524 images generated to find just what I wanted. My AI is first generation, it requires a lot of images to find the right ones. In addition, it has not benefited from the latest update which allows for better rendering. Afterwards I'm mainly looking for great ones to rework and not yet finish.
I had to cut them all out with scissors lol. For the moment I still don't have the tool to do it automatically, I'm impatiently waiting for it
Afterwards I saved each layer in order to have them again if a bug appeared in my creation. It's better to be safe than sorry
I wanted to edit the image on the right but it wasn't old enough for my taste.
As usual, I work on two projects at the same time and there is always one that wins out of both. Certain elements are the same I save in working time on its elements. This challenge amused me a lot. By the theme proposed and it inspired me by the fact that I am also a fan of science fiction. I'll have to take my old books out of my boxes which haven't been taken out for at least 3 moves. Yes, I'm not kidding, I haven't taken them out of the boxes for at least 10 years. Maybe the time has come!!
Thank you for coming to visit me, I hope you liked my project.
Have a good week
