This book changed my life. It really did. It caused me to start actually LOOKING at my life and deciding what I wanted to do with it, instead of passively letting life happen to me.
I got the NOOK book for it when it came out, as I had been listening to Jenna's podcast. Wow, been 4 years already.
That book made it possible for me to start looking not just at what I wanted, but also what I could improve on. How was I continuing to my own passivity in life.
Now, 4 years later, I'm still working towards what I envision for my future. It's really interesting though, when a person really starts making positive changes, it's not always received well by others. She talks about that in the book (if I'm not mixing that up with another book, I'm always reading out listening to personal growth topics). That sometimes when personal growth occurs, those who want things to stay just the way they are will make comments or behave in such a way that it makes it harder for you to grow.
I really need to pull this book out again and read it again.
Another book i really like are Essentialism by Greg McKeown. Another classic that I need to revisit because I thinki need to figure out what's not working for me and stop it.
Lol, that reminds me of the Bob Newhart skit. Stop it!
Oh, if only it were that easy.
