Hello everyone, I present to you three outings in the forest near my home to collect trumpets of death. It is a fine and delicious mushroom. It grows in layers and when you find one, you find plenty all around. The difficulty of this mushroom is that it is black and early in the morning when there is fog plus the dead leaves on the ground make it difficult to find it. The children manage to spot it more quickly because they are much smaller and the height from the feet to the head allows them to be spotted. Often when I stop I put my basket on the ground I pose and there as if by magic I see a solitary trumpet patiently waiting to be picked up. I bend down and magically hundreds of trumpets are waiting for me shouting we are here pick us up.
I started by posting this photo of an old pinball machine that I keep preciously at home. For the moment it is not active I have to repair it are year of birth 1974 imagine he is 48 years old almost half a century
This story began with this small amount of trumpet that they gave me I thanked the person telling me it's been more than 30 years since I've eaten it I'm going to enjoy myself
I dry them in a garland with sewing thread and I eat some fresh
Result after drying there is much less
I decide to go to the forest to collect some to get a harvest and the adventure begins
I take a small line that was cut two years ago to reach the forest where it should give me the gift of finding a packet of mushrooms
First let's chop an amanita. A very poisonous mushroom
First trumpet I'm crazy
What shows this photo look good it is trompe l'oeil
A small two centimeter long toad
When I saw this bulb on the tree I immediately thought of a head
Trumpets that waited for me
Another surprise of nature the remains of a jawbone of a wild animal
Yet another toad who survived this year's drought nature is beautiful even if he with his pustules does not make you want to touch him
A hole at the foot of a tree allows the batrachian to have a water point
As always bad people prefer to get their waste in the middle of the forest rather than bring them home. For once its remains of glass but sometimes have found plastic and it was less funny
The trumpets like to follow a dead branch on the ground

(
once back I put some trumpets and wild chestnuts on a friend's table to share this fine mushroom and roast chestnuts over a wood fire
A chestnut leaf I took a picture of it to be sure that the nuts I had found were not chestnuts which are not edible
A fruit and vegetable dehydrator works well with mushrooms
Dry trumpets stored in 3 liter bags with everything I have enough for 3 years. As the climate changes it is becoming increasingly rare to find mushrooms. The heat humidity conditions ... are no longer synchronized
And to reward myself for several days of walking, I prepared a chicken with trumpet potato, browned in butter and garnished with thin from the garden.
To forgive me for the poor quality of the photos, I took them with my smartphone and in the forest the lack of light does not help to arrange the photos.
