Ok, let me admit: I Love Hip-Hop, alright ?
We’re in 2022… and Hip-Hop by itself, as a style, has made so much history last years, that just the last 3 decades could be divided in different “eras” of Hip-Hop music.
Just for you to have an idea
The iPod and the whole MP3 player industry has helped popularizing Hip-Hop music. More people had access to good headphones and easy downloadable music in the early 2000’s. The whole consumption of music has drastically changed since then. Now you have EP singles every month, instead of a new CD every one or two years. The equalizer setting on Winamp, for example, lacks Hip-Hop. It used to be simply called “Pop” music in the 90’s.
Anyway, as a big music fan in general and great admirer of how it mutates over time with culture, I have huge respect for Hip-Hop’s evolution. Above anything else, it’s interesting, and we are living the greatest time ever on humanity. I mean, super powers….
Time has changed, and we are here, observing, adapting.
Here we never surrender. We overcome and improve. Difficulties are needed in order to get stronger. You literally need to cause hurt and pain to your body in order to strengthen it. Just accept the rules of this planet.
It’s been more than two decades I listen to it in a daily basis.
Probably you will find some interesting stuff out of my brain’s database.
Look, this is not your cousin’s self improvement book. It might not be the 50 Laws of Power, but it’s lessons are brighter than what you might think.
Expect Little, Get a Lot
Just listed to it without any expectations. Let 50 run the show.

Or just Hustle a bit, right?
Oh, look what I found on YouTube:
Don’t worry. No need to FOMO. I’ve got a lot to share with you and this is just the first post about hip-hop.
A brief description of the amount of information I hold is better described in the following image:
153 days of pure musical experience right into your veins.
This is going to be the name of my music festival, one day. A huge event, or rave, whatever. You’d have to spare some time to get yourself up to date with all the amount of different cultures involved.
I think you might like to have some taste of my music knowledge.
Oh, by the way, did you say YouTube Downloader?
Of course, right here
Right to your old iPod, right ?

Desiigner
“Now congratulations and pop champagne…”
This is another good rapper in my opinion. And yes, broken. Desiigner is stylish and has a lazy look just like most rappers nowadays, but his song has more interesting beats and lyrics than what others are offering in this decade. Let’s say Desiigner is one of the few I can still listen, consistently.
It seems 50 cent and snoop dog are not big fans of all these modern rappers, but I just think they don’t like those who lack creativity and speak all the same bullshit on their songs.
Like, take a look at this guy. He’s good in my opinion, probably could be the next 50 cent if he just had more songs (My favorites from him are mostly remixes). That’s the “only” thing that’s lacking.
Listen up:
Montana 300
This song was introduced to me by a Hawaiian fella back when I was working I London. We went out to have a blunt and he told me about this guy, Mr. Montana 300.
I’ve started to follow his work, and now it’s been 7 years I listen to him already.
Get this one, for example:
Cipher has 7 parts. If you like the first one, just go for it.
Have fun dear hivean. We’re here to explore.
Talking about all these other rappers made me realize something:
You know, 50 cent didn’t become a hip-hop star out of luck. He knew what he was doing. That was business.
Life is a huge business to take care of, actually.
And you, the only boss.
One of the things he says in his audiobook that pulled my attention was about the behavior of the public, which is always needing a broken person to admire.
50 got “fixed”, and he knows it very well.
I highly recommend listening to the songs I’ve shared with you in this post, in order to get some inspiration. Then, get the audiobook into your brain, somehow. Find your preferred input/output solution and have fun.
Enjoy the ride, fella.
As a bonus, why don’t you get some more of my inspiration?
Flow, dude ~

Becoming a magician would be to respect and seek for constant improvement of our capacity of understanding the reality around us. Understand that with Great Powers comes Big Responsibilities, and the more serious you look at this karma, THE more powerful the magic of life will work towards your goals and plans.
