Good afternoon friends and beloved followers. I've only got a few minutes to write something up here tonight, so it's a perfect opportunity to post another Nomadic Nugget! This time it's a house we came across in small portuguese town that looking a little.... odd.
This goofy thing is located in the small village of Furnas on the island of Sao Miguel. Now, the truth of the matter is that it isn't a house at all. I mean, I guess that's not really a surprise. It's way too small to be a house and, well, it's upside down.
It turns out that it's just a fancy/attractive/interesting way to cover an electrical hub. You know, one of those big transformer things you see every now and then along the road? Maybe they're a booster station or something? I don't know what they are really. But anywho, that's what this upside-down house is for.
'Nomadic Nuggets' are bits of interesting and quirky things we've come across on our travels. They are 100% original content using photos, stories, and experiences from my own travels, and exclusive to Steemit.com!
