Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

The holiday season is closing in on all of us and we've arrived at another weekend and that means we have another Caturday on hand!

The Hoomans have actually brought in the Christmas tree from the garage and started hanging lights and other things on it. It's all very tempting for a cat! Of course, they insist that I am not allowed to climb the tree or to bat at the ornaments!

Oh, but they are so shiny! How can they expect me to resist?

Anyway, since the word "allowed" is really not in my vocabulary, they have unfortunately put up the baby gate that they reserve for this time of the year or for when people with dogs or visiting. That means all I can do is stand outside and look at the tree from a distance. Oh, if only I were a better jumper than I am!

Meanwhile, it was another day home alone for the cats. The Hoomans went to do one of their Christmas shows with their arts and crafts stuff today, but thankfully it is not a really long show and they were back home by 4:30 this afternoon, just in time for my afternoon treat time!

They will be off again tomorrow, doing the same thing one more time, but it'll be a short day once again because it's a very civilized show that doesn't run really long hours. They seem quite excited about it because evidently it's the biggest deal out of their year.

I just hope they do really well, so there will be extra cat treats! It's important for cats to be supportive of their Hoomans' endeavors, when there are cat treats involved!

Crypto Christmas?

Meanwhile, it looks like there's still a little bit of a life in the cryptosphere!

At least it looks like Bitcoin is doing really well reaching high points it hasn't been at since the middle of 2022. Unfortunately, around Hive token seems to be lagging behind as it almost always does... but we're slowly catching up, at $0.38, last time I looked. When things started moving I had vague hopes that we would be seeing 50-cent Hive soon... but I haven't given up hope of that, yet.

Smudge is getting to enjoy the Christmas tree from up close, because she is not a jumper in her old age and so she just enjoys pretty blinking lights but she doesn't play with anything. I guess age sometimes has its privileges!

Well, I am hearing the dinner can, so I's better run! I appreciate you coming by to visit and hope you have had a wonderful Caturday. And I hope you continue to have an enjoyable weekend!
