Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope everybody has had a good week so far and that you are happy and healthy!

Sometimes a good hiding place is the most prudent approach!

As I mentioned in our Caturday update, we had a visit from the Daughter-Hooman and her infant son over the recent holiday weekend.

Needless to say, the house was pretty much turned upside down for a couple of days, and we cats chose to stay as much in the background as we could. After all, the "tiny Hooman" doesn't really have an understanding of cats, as of yet.

Nala, relaxing

I did get curious and tried to approach the tiny Hooman carefully... but retreated quickly because he tried to poke my eyes. I guess we'll have to wait a couple of years before he gains an understanding of how to be gentle and soft with cats.

I suppose we should also keep in mind that he's around a couple of dogs on a daily basis, but not cats.

Enjoying the sun, but keeping a watchful eye

Since we stayed in the background, we do not yet have any pictures of any of us cats with the tiny Hooman... that will have to wait for a while.

However, here's one of the Dad-Hooman's favorite photos of one of our previous cats "Orange" with another of the Hooman grandchildren, some years ago. As you can see, it's a slightly older tiny Hooman!

As you can see, they are quite happy together!

Anyway, we are all happy that the house is back to normal and feeling peaceful!

I know the Hoomans were very excited about being grandparents, but even they seemed quite exhausted after a couple of days of wrangling a super active toddler!

Do I need to run and hide?

Thanks for taking a moment to visit our little cat blog! We hope to see you again soon... perhaps for Caturday on Saturday?

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communities!

If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!

HiveCats by curatorcat@curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by manorvillemike@manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday by saboin@saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by andrarchy@andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by captainklaus@captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
