The Emperor's replacement is sitting at the high throne of gray stone. Lord Vader has heard of the attack and rushed to meet up with Palpatine's new star destroyer. He enters the expansive chamber with a squad of stormtroopers behind him. He inquires of the old man what happened.
He bows down to his master. The imposter who now sits in the grand throne replies with identical voice to the deceased Sith Lord that everything is well and that the rebel attack was minor. He tells him to stand up and gives him instructions for his next mission.
Vader's star destroyer detaches from the Emperor's and leaps into hyperspace. Vader senses something different about the Emperor, he doesn't feel the usual dread of his presence, he feels nothing coming of him. But there is something different, as if someone else is hiding in the shadows equally as strong in the dark side of the force.
As soon as he is left alone, Snoke sits back on his throne. Only select people are allowed to see him, only his fellow conspirators. Before he infiltrated the empire and basically came in control of it, he made strong connections, he wouldn't do this unprepared.
Now his general Hux is showing off the newest stormtrooper armor designs which look more menacing, are miles more practical and will be the face of the new, Snoke's Empire. He yet needs to make a plan to make the full transition of power, he can't be behind the curtains forever.
Far away on a nondescript planet which is covered in a fine layer of white salt, Vader has arranged a meeting with one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. The suspicion of the Emperor and this new Snoke he just introduced to the Empire as his adviser is just too great. Boba Fett will investigate this, for a small fortune of course...
