Professional Book Covers are Essential

I have written six books and self-published five of them to date.

And one of the biggest lessons I learned was - have a professional book cover.

It doesn't even have to cost you that much.

The one at the top of the post is pulling in about $4-$7 per day in Kindle Unlimited page reads.

I recently took another book cover I had, one for my non-fiction book, The War on Drugs: An Old Wives Tale and switched from this book cover...

To this new book cover...

Quite the difference!

Frankly, if you want to distinguish yourself from the crowd, you need something that look professional. And I did it all for free (or nearly free) on Canva.com.

I've even started designing "book covers" for my short stories and inserting the picture on the first page of the story.

Give folks every opportunity to give your books a chance, by being as professional in appearance as possible.
