Haven’t written in a while.
Day 15–18 are done.

I don’t know why I haven’t written. It’s easy to let it slip up and with each passing day. It’s easier for the snowball to keep going down the hill. It’s okay though. This challenge isn’t about writing, it’s about exercising. Although, I will say that writing does do something to make it feel more real. It anchors it in there. Right there, in your mind.

I have been waking up with anxiety for a few various reasons. This is where exercise comes in handy. There were a couple days in there I decided to run, so that was something new. But yeah. I haven’t really felt what I want to feel yet. But honestly I have noticed some subtle things and changes. My chest is hurting. It’s a combination of not eating enough, not exercising enough, and missing people.

I haven’t felt the after effects I would like to feel just yet. That’s only because I haven’t really had a rigorous workout or anything like that. Below are some feelings I have felt and others I wish to feel in the near future.
Thoughts are different before, during, and after
Before: I don’t wanna→going back and forth in your mind→getting to the point of actually doing it
During: Glad to be out of the house→Sense of calm/fighting negative thoughts→momentum/natural state/enjoyment
After: A bit calmer→anxiety has gone down, ability to focus and concentrate →flow state
I have felt some of these feelings. Most notably the before and during. The after is where the magic happens. This is what I wish to occur.
A fun graphic for you…
Exercising → An increase in thoughts
Idling →Negative/Swirling of thoughts
It’s obviously a no-brainer which is more beneficial. So, the way I like to think of it is having something in my back pocket just in case I need it. That something being exercise.
