On various platforms I am always seeing questions about coins, mainly from beginners but sometimes from more experienced users. So I thought I would do a list of useful resources that I use to get information. This list is in no particular order.

CoinWarz

CoinWarz is a fantastic website with useful tools for miners. They have profitability calculators, real-time coin profitability leaderboards to see which coin is currently the best to mine and difficulty, exchange rate and network hashrate charts.

CoinGecko

CoinGecko is a great tool for general information about a coin. I really like that CoinGecko tells us what exchanges use the coin you are researching, which can be extremely useful for more obscure coins.

Crypto Junction

Crypto Junction is my go to resource for crypto news. They have everything from tutorials to up to date news. If you want to find out about the next big thing, this is a good place to start.

Conclusion

There you have it, folks. I realize a lot of you will already know these, however hopefully it will help some newer members of steemit. If you like or prefer other resources please let me know in the comments!

Happy Mining!
