Today I would like to introduce a new format in my blog
I've been getting very technical lately; talking a lot about software, blockchain and cyber security. And that is fine, I am passionate about those topics. But in all this rush, in these exciting and fast-paced times - Let's not forget to take a moment to step back and reflect on things. To examine the mishaps and to appreciate the fortunate moments. And this is where philosophy comes in. It is perhaps the ultimate subject, since it's scope is the most ambitious one - it teaches about the most vital aspect of our being - life. There is much to learn from our wise old teachers. Some quotes are so powerful and can grasp the essence of matter so well, that it can change one's whole perspective on life.
I would like share with you, my dear reader, 3 quotes from a philosopher of my choice every Sunday. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do.

Plato
was a Greek philosopher who founded the Academy in Athens. It was the the very first institution of higher learning (first form of a university) in the Western world. He is widely recognized to have played one of the most essential parts in the development of Western philosophy. He is the scholar of the philosopher Socrates, and it is thanks to Plato that we now can enjoy Socrates teachings: It was Plato who recorded their conversations and teachings in written form. It is believed, that Plato's entire work is has survived intact for over 2,400 years.
