Tour of Sweets, Coffee and Döner
Location: Diyarbakır, TURKEY

Sweets
First stop for today's walking tour was trying out some Turkish sweets! These ring sweets are first deep-fried, soaked in sugar syrup and finally stacked for display. They are exceptionally sweet and ooze syrup after the first bite. Be careful!
Diyarbakir Coffee
Similar to Turkish coffee, they are served in a mini-cup with water and two pieces of Turkish delight. The coffee ground is in the drink unfortunately, so you can only enjoy half the drink.
Döner Kebab
For dinner we had our first authentic döner kebab. It was delicious and costed only 5 Liras. We also tried a drink called Ayran which is watery yoghurt with mints.
