The climb to the top is one of many lessons. One of the most important that I have learned so far is that it's one thing to make money, but its another to manage it. Money Management is critical if you don't want to remain broke. Every little bit counts and adds up.
Money moves quietly, and one way that I interpret that is by recognizing that if you are a person that constantly flashes or spends money frequently on frivolous things then people take notice and the wolves, hyenas and leeches will be after you and trying to take you for everything, but if you keep how much money you make to yourself, never count large amounts out in public, you will be less likely to draw unwanted attention as well as conveying to those with deep pockets and connections that you move discretely and keep things to yourself because in order to be out your competitors you must maintain and edge, stay a step ahead and you can't do this if everyone can see the hand that you are playing.
Some of the biggest mobsters, crooks and criminals were able to avoid prison, assassinations because they kept a low profile. The more money you make the bigger the Bullseye is and this isn't with your everyday average person, even the Government extorts more from those who make more unless....they keep "Hush Money" in so many words.
The bigger the target the easier it is for the mark to be hit, this is why it's important and key to keep maintain a level of silence and secrecy when it comes to money. This is even evident, with the current president of the United States, Donald Trump who has yet to release and allow for the People of the country to see its highest officials financial records. Take Notes.
