I think one of the first things I would do is get married. It is my most honest answer. Me personally, finances have always been one of the biggest things standing in the way and its not like i even want an extravagant wedding or anything close to that, or even a luxurious lifestyle, but because I want to be able to provide stability and comfort. I want to enter marriage knowing that I can take care of my family without constantly worrying about where the next payment is coming from. If money was completely taken out of the equation, I would stop waiting and start building the life I have imagined for a long time.
Beyond getting married, almost everything else I would do revolves around making my family happy. I have never really been someone who dreams of owning ten sports cars or buying the most expensive things money can offer. I know money can change people and of course ive seen people say that its because you dont have the money yet, that is why you think you cant make such decisions but i know myself at the core and im definitely not one to let money change them. Of course, there are nice things I would enjoy, but my greatest satisfaction would come from seeing the people I love living comfortably and happily. I like being a probelm solver.
I would of course also make sure my parents never had to worry about money again. The sacrifices parents make often go unnoticed until you become older and begin to understand the weight they carried for years, being able to give back to them would be one of my greatest joys. I would also spend more time with family instead of constantly chasing financial goals. Many of us spend years hustling and trying to secure the future that we often miss the present. If finances were never a concern, I would choose moments over money every single time.
Of course, I would travel, i hate flying but yeah id explore new places, and experience different cultures. I would learn new skills simply because they interest me, not because they might increase my earning potential. When I imagine a life without financial worries, I picture a happy home filled with laughter and I picture being married to the person I love and having the freedom to focus on relationships rather than responsibilities.
