The dashboard of a car is the perfect place to sit. Sometimes you have to bring the cats in the car and they don't like cages. This is a rare occurance to explore what's beyond the immediate neighbourhood.
A Conked Out Coon! We recently sold this cat tree because the Coon destroyed it, I'll have to get a purpose build scratching post. Cat's sleep anywhere.
So cute here is a bonus photo. The 'hammock' was perfect to store cat toys and grooming things in, it was too small for our cats.
The love to play on, under and around the table. It makes a perfect venue for hiding and ambushing one another.
This may be zoomed in too much and was a low quality transfer photo. It's just funny how Crypticat is cleaning the end of her tail.
You can see the destroyed scratching post here. While some would say just fix it with new twine and glue, it was too short for her anyways. Mainecoons are long. Crypticat prefers to scratch the carpets and is a 'horizontal' scratcher. This makes it tough to win.
One of my favourite photos as this shows how difficult it is to get that shot. Our cats don't knead often and certainly not with their tongues sticking out. Caught in that perfect moment.
We trimmed Crypticat's fur in the summer. It's so thick it gets tangled and messy. While not an easy endeavor, we were all happy with the end result.
A cozy spot for a coon! The bed is no more along with the cat house, now they just have a tunnel and use our furniture.
Speaking of using things, Crypticat drinks from the watering can and the coon drinks from a vase on the counter. It almost all comes from the tap. Our water is clean and full of fresh mountain minerals.
