The mechanic [ ENG-ESP] ---Monomad---

Hello friends lovers of black and white photography.

Some time ago I made this portrait, I present to Panchito a grandfather who at the time worked at this advanced age as a water motor mechanic. A person who enjoys the activity and who, regardless of his more than 90 years, does the work to which he is committed.

I remember that a couple of years ago we called him one day and he agreed to check our engine, after that he took it to his house, repaired the destroyed mechanisms and returned it to adjust it and get it completely ready so that we could use it.

He accessed the photos on the first try. It would have been normal for me if he had refused to perform them, but no, he accepted with a big smile.
I also photographed his hands when I saw them, it gave the feeling of seeing something that he showed me all the years of work, they were strong but at the same time loving hands of someone who loved working and doing what he did. Skillful hands in his work but capable of giving a lot of affection.

Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro.

Hace un tiempo realicé este retrato , les presento a Panchito un abuelo que en su momento trabajaba a esta avanzada edad como mecánico de motores de agua. Una persona que disfruta de la actividad y que sin importar sus más de 90 años realiza el trabajo con el cual se compromete.

Recuerdo que hace par de años un día lo llamamos y accedió a revisar nuestro motor , posterior a eso lo llevó a su casa , reparó los mecanismos destruidos y lo regresó para ajustarlo y dejarlo completamente listo para que pudieramos usarlo.

Accedió a las fotos al primer intento. Me hubiera resultado normal si se hubiese negado a realizarlas, pero no , el aceptó con una gran sonrisa.
También fotografié sus manos al verlas , daba la sensación de estar viendo algo que me mostraba todos los años de trabajo, eran manos fuertes pero a la vez cariñosas de alguien que amaba trabajar y hacer lo que hacía. Unas manos diestras en su labor pero capaces de dar mucho cariño.
