This is Bebu my super adorable one year old mixed cat. Her mom is a Siamese and her dad is a Persian.
If you have read my Introductory Post you must have known that I love animals especially cats. As long as I remember there is a cat at our house and in our store.
My mom says they bring good luck and I do believe her. I think it's one of the reason why our store thrived back then. We used to have this cat who tends the fish my mom sells and fends off dogs. She doesn't eat the fish unless you give it to her. Aw, how I miss that cat, Gloria was her name.
Now, let's go back to Bebu... It was 22nd of July 2021 when I visited our home from being away for two whole months when I found out that my eldest brother had given away my cat, Maimai, and her litter. I was infuriated that no one notified of such doing, not even my mom.
But I couldn't complain a lot because we were having security issues at home back then and my mom needs to move out of the house. In short no one would care for the cats anymore. At the time also Siopao my Maimai's daughter had given birth to three Calicos which they were planning to give away too. But I insisted to take them with me. Siopao is the only remembrance I have of Maimai and I would not let them give her also.
And so that day I took Siopao along with her three kitten to my apartment. I never regretted it!
Bebu is the feistiest among the three kitten at around three weeks she already tasted her first solid food and ever since then she's a glutton. Well you couldn't deny her love for food, especially fish! She would devour fish the moment you give to her!
Bebu is the most quirkiest cat I ever have. She loves hooman touch and cuddles. She likes it when her dad would carry her around and would even voice out her dismay when he would put her down.
She loves to sleep with us in the bed. And I think it's because she could easily wake us up in the morning and feed her. She wakes us every morning at exactly 6am! And if you don't wake up, she sits on your face! Ahahha
And that doesn't stop there. Bebu loves boxes. The wrappers of packages I buy for her. Plastics. Lizards. Grass. Birds.
And now because I'm always at home and with her, she developed a quirk to communicate with me. She would approach the thing she wants, she look back at me and pints it out while softly meowing.
Sometimes I think she's not a cat. Ahahaha...
It's real when you are with cats you'd feel warm and happy. Their liveliness is contagious and maybe it's your time to get one too?
Aside from having a fluffy companion at bed you would have a bodyguard to ward off evil spirits when going to the bathroom at night!
And so Bebu says...
