Mozart Sparks Creativity 🧨
I've been fascinated with Mozart since I was in school, although that's not where I learned of the maestro's music. A member of the middle school and high school bands, I played clarinet. I become obsessed with it — down the rabbit hole I went!
With a thirst for more, I found a classical music station in the big city nearest where I grew up. Listening regularly it took about a "New York minute" to discover W. A. Mozart, and another one to hear his Clarinet Concerto in A major, K.622. I was smitten.
As founder and regular host of Creative Work Hour, I curate most of the music we hear during the live co-working sessions for Hive. Getting the vibe right is key to designing a space conducive to cognitive flow. Today's first hour music centered around not just Mozart's Clarinet Concerto but also the Clarinet Quintet that proceeded it.
At five minutes until "the top of the hour" I bring back the crew for a brief check out (more about how that works below) and then we celebrate our efforts with a Rock music seque. How fun it was today to party between co-working sessions with "Rock Me, Amadeus!"
