Este marca páginas me encantó 🙂 no estaba muy segura cómo se vería y aún no decidía los colores 🌈 que usaría para hacerlo, así que coloqué los hilos junto a los materiales necesarios y me dejé llevar por la inspiración.

I loved this bookmark 🙂 I wasn't quite sure how it would look and I still hadn't decided on the colors 🌈 I would use to make it, so I laid out the yarns along with the necessary materials and went with inspiration.

PROCEDIMIENTO.PROCEDURE.

Empezaremos tejiendo el círculo que formará el cuerpo del búho. Iniciamos con un am de 10pb. En la próxima vuelta tejeremos 10aum de pb, para obtener 20pb. Seguidamente en la tercera vuelta tejeremos 1pb-1aum hasta finalizar toda la vuelta con pd. Rematar y cortar la hebra. Esta hebra se esconde por la parte de atrás del tejido usando la aguja lanera.

We begin by knitting the circle that will form the body of the owl. We start with an am of 10 sts. In the next row, we will knit 10 bp am, to obtain 20 bp. Then in the third row we will knit 1pb-1aum until we finish the whole row with pd. Finish off and cut the yarn. This yarn is hidden at the back of the fabric using the knitting needle.

Ahora tejeremos dos círculos más pequeños en color blanco y dos más pequeños en color negro. Estos tejidos formarán los ojos del búho. Con hilo color blanco iniciamos un am de 6pb, después en la segunda vuelta haremos 6aum de pb, para obtener 12pb. Cerramos con pd, rematamos y escondemos la hebra.

Now we will weave two smaller circles in white color and two smaller circles in black color. These will form the eyes of the owl. With white yarn we start a 6pb am, then in the second round we will knit 6aum of bp, to obtain 12pb. Close with pd, finish off and hide the yarn.

Con un palillo de madera haremos el tronco donde reposará el búho. Tomamos la medida y cortamos las puntas o filos del palillo. Colocaremos un poco de pegamento y luego lo cubriremos completo con hilo color marrón.

With a wooden stick we will make the trunk where the owl will rest. We take the measure and cut the tips or edges of the stick. We will put some glue and then we will cover it completely with brown thread.

Cortaremos hebras de hilos de diferentes colores, podrían ser cuatro hebras para cada fleco. Estas hebras las vamos a doblar a la mitad para que los flecos nos queden de ocho hebras cada uno.
También vamos a ensartar hilo pabilo color amarillo en la aguja lanera. Con este hilo haremos el pico del hubo bordándolo desde el centro del círculo más grande hasta donde se encuentran la vuelta uno y la dos, haremos con el hilo un pequeño triángulo.
Sin sacar el hilo de la aguja lo posicionamos más abajo del círculo (por detrás), pasamos la aguja hacia adelante y fijaremos el palillo, de esta manera haremos las patas del búho reposando en el palo.
Con pegamento fijaremos las partes que forman los ojos y los pegaremos en la parte de arriba del círculo.
Finalmente esta figura ya terminada la pegamos con silicón caliente en la parte de arriba de la paleta. Si se ven los hilos amarillos en la parte de atrás entonces los taparemos con un trocito de tela amarilla o verde.
Los flecos debemos colocarlos antes de pegar los ojos. A mí se me olvidó y tuve que hacerlo después.

We will cut strands of yarns of different colors, there could be four strands for each fringe. These strands we are going to fold them in half so that the bangs are eight strands each.

We are also going to thread yellow wick thread on the wool needle. With this thread we will make the little bit of the haber embroidering it from the center of the biggest circle to where the turn one and two meet, we will make with the thread a small triangle.

Without removing the thread from the needle we position it below the circle (behind), we pass the needle forward and we will fix the stick, in this way we will make the owl's legs resting on the stick.

With glue we will fix the parts that form the eyes and we will take them to the top of the circle.

Finally we glue this finished figure with hot silicone on the top of the palette. If the yellow threads are visible on the back, we will cover them with a small piece of yellow or green fabric.
The bangs should be placed before gluing the eyes. I forgot and had to do it later.

Los detalles que coloqué en la paleta fue una decoración random 😃 porque tenía puesta una franela que tiene muchos de estos brillanticos y justo en ese momento empezaron a caerseles algunos, los aproveché y se los pegué para no perderlos.

The details I put on the palette was a random decoration 😃 because I was wearing a flannel that has a lot of these glitters and just at that moment some of them started to fall off, I took advantage of them and glued them on so I wouldn't lose them.
