Greetings Steemians,

Today was a good day indeed, if you read my earlier posts you will see I went to collect a hot tub I had bought.

After picking it up and doing a little bit of shopping, I hopped in the van and headed home. One of the things I love buying here in bulgaria is something called a Banitsa. This lovely little tasty treat with either filo or flaky pastry filled with Cheese and Spinach brings much joy to my heart when I am eating it.

So there I am eating the banitsa looking at the huge fields full of sunflowers when suddenly a bee, wasp or hornet comes flying in through the van window and lands on my arm.
I swish it away and the little bastard stung me!!! Immediately I dropped the banitsa and swiped the angry little bastard thing off my arm and panic mode set it.

Suddenly I thought that I didn't even know if I was majorly allergic to the stings and panic mode set in. What if I go into shock??? The pain of a sting is uncomfortable and you can feel it, I thought I could feel my arm going numb and started glancing at where I had been stung which broke into a hive now and the area around started going red.

I decided to keep my arm straight and try to relax, thinking I was just being melodramatic, but the pain was still there. Then I started talking to myself trying to say, "you're all right, there is nothing to be scared of, you are not going to die. Put your foot down and get home, stop hyperventilating and calm down, drive in a straight direction and stop zigzagging along the road like you're drunk."

I decided to relax my arm a bit which then the pain was starting to subside, and I relaxed a little bit. Then around half an hour late when I got home the hive had disappeared, leaving just the red around the skin.

So I don't think I will go into shock after all.

But to make matters worse the Banitsa must have been dodgy because I have since had stomach cramps all afternoon, or could it have been off the bee, wasp or hornet??

Feel free to let me know what you think guys hope your day is going better, think I am going to relax in bed and get the pain to subside.
