Hey everyone, if you have turned on the TV of late you will see the chaos currently happening in South Africa. Sad sorry state of affairs. How to survive all of this madness??? Fruit Trees.
What a Blessing it is to live on a plot which I don't own, that has an incredible orchard as it does... I do not believe owning land currently in South Africa is a good idea. Gold silver and crypto as well as a sustainable food source in these torrid times I believe are all that will keep things going.
My landlord was smart enough to plant fruit trees years ago of differing species that fruit at different times of the year ensuring a constant supply of food all year round regardless of the season. WINTER now citrus season.
How pretty is that naartjie tree?? Also here we have kiwi vines for some weird reason landlord has not been eating them.. maybe I will volunteer my assistance??
Other citrus on this property include limes, lemons and oranges.
