In the US, Valentine's Day is approaching, and people who want to fly to meet a lot of people are thinking about or not going to the ground forms of transportation because it will be very painful to fly.

The state agents used to help security are technically working for free now. Military personnel and also with organizations paid by many other states such as disability services, food stamps and shelter assistance. They leave their jobs, they call the patients in bulk, and the few who are still willing to work hard work by trying to keep things as smooth as possible.
People who were trying to fly to the last PAX contract were told not to go or come too early for their flights. A person I know came to the local airport at 1:30 in the morning and went through security in 15 minutes, then slept in the terminal near the gate because the flight did not go until 3:00 pm. But at 10:00, it took them about two hours to get people to safety, and since they were unprepared, most people missed flights because they were completely safe.

In the end, this will cause the airports to simply shut down and ground planes, because there are not enough security personnel to handle the absolute volume of people trying to cross.
