Having a quick look around the garden this morning I've seen this bad boy had a nice breakfast. He gorged himself and decided to have a little nap right at the crime scene.
Bad snail... or is it overconfidence? " I'll just hide here, he'll never know I took that sweet sap last night, I might have a nap next to my dinner, looking all pretty and innocent."
Pfft, I guess there's enough for both of us but I don't want him calling his little slimy friends. If only I could hire a chicken on guard duty.
I was a bit traumatised by this snail's lack of care, but going inside the greenhouse made me feel a bit better. It's practically a jungle in there. Now, about 10 days ago I've transplanted some little salad seedlings in the same dutch buckets my plants are to see if they'll catch in the clay pebbles. My worries about them not getting enough light under the canopy were unfounded and I've got some salads kicking a$$. In a few days I could start harvesting some leaves I think.
Thanks for checking my snail out! hah.
