Hello to all my Hive friends! đŸ„°
‎
‎Today I’d love to share what’s new in our little garden. 😍
‎

‎
‎My mother‑in‑law and sister‑in‑law are really hard‑working when it comes to planting. They just keep planting and planting, and after some time, it always pays off well. I’m so proud of them because we get to enjoy the fruits of their work, and we harvest fresh greens and use them for our daily meals.
‎
‎So what’s new out there right now? We have fresh sweet potato sprouts and lots of young pechay seedlings coming up. Pechay is easy to grow, but sometimes we get stuck thinking about where to transplant them, haha.
‎

‎
‎We just use old recycled plastic containers for our seedlings, and it works great for us. When they are still small sprouts, we have to protect them from birds and other pests.
‎

‎That’s why we put wire mesh and wooden branches around them to keep them safe. It takes patience and daily care to keep the leaves healthy, but after a few more days they grow bigger and stronger.
‎

‎
‎Once the pechay is fully grown, all your hard work pays off coz you have fresh green vegetables ready to add to any dish you like.
‎

‎
‎Sometimes our neighbors pass by and see the fresh greens, and ask if they can pick some. My sister‑in‑law finds it hard to say no, but when they keep coming over and taking too much, she gets annoyed too, haha.
‎
‎One of our neighbors used to grow pechay and sold all of it for almost ₱5,000. That’s really a nice amount.
‎
‎But for us, my mother‑in‑law plants only for our own food, not for selling.
‎
‎We also have young pepper plants that will soon give us plenty of chili peppers... And then there are our ginger plants that I shared in my earlier post.
‎

‎
‎They have so many new sprouts now. It’s lovely to see them spread out.
‎
‎How about you? Do you have any new sprouts growing in your garden lately?
‎
‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌾
