Another game rules is highlighted in the Share Your Battle Challenge which is also called the Battle Mage Secrets for Splinterlands. This is the one where Speed rules are reversed!
What I wrote last time on this game rule:
Not that much changed since and I pretty much stand by what I wrote down.
For this battle, only Melee Monsters could be used and there was also no healing which made my opponent and me go for the Fire Splinter.
It's one of the rare occasions when I opted for one of the Soulbound Reward Card Summoners as the low speed Chimney Wallstop for a 2nd place melee card was the best choice after the Ferox Defender. My opponent choice exactly the same strategy and it were the other cards where the difference was made. I opted for a combination of lower mana Melee cards that could attack from any position with the Parasitic Growth, The Tenyii Striker and the Uraeus and in last place to block some sneak damage the Scorch Fiend.
I was up against an opponent (Link)who only owns Soulbound cards (hand One Runi) and runs a bot in wile reaching rank 3500+ with that.
This is one of the main issues of the game and why the Soulbound unlock mechanisms make no sense (Link) as players like this can just keep using just the soulbound cards effectively without unlocking and keep extracting value while the crazy oversupply in cards remains. The game should have a way to give cards that are unlocked or bought with money an advantage over free cards given out from gameplay time.
