Today was a pleasant day; we are starting the school year, though many students have yet to enroll. Other students have left the country with their parents, while some decided to enter the workforce.

The country's situation is somewhat complicated for some; coupled with power outages and other social issues, I believe this year will be quite a challenge. Nevertheless, those of us who remain here continue to believe in a better country.

Today I met the first groups of students who will be with me this new school year. I hope everything goes well and that I can give them my best—I will certainly try. I have always believed that students do not deserve to bear the burden of the irresponsibility of a system that fails to protect them, so as a teacher, I will do everything in my power to provide them with a quality education.

The afternoon passed quietly; the sky gifted us a blessed rain that briefly cooled the sweltering heat. We couldn't make coffee ☕ because there was no electricity from early in the day; in fact, I finished my workday and the power still hadn't come back on.

When it was time to leave, we walked under a cloudy sky; the rain had stopped, birds danced in the air, dogs barked in the distance, and the garden flowers were opening their petals.

I arrived home to find a cat that had died of poisoning.

Hoy fue un día agradable, estamos comenzando el año escolar, aún faltan muchos estudiantes por inscribirse. Otros estudiantes se han ido del país juntos con sus padres, algunos decidieron ingresar al mercado laboral.

La situación del país está algo complicada para algunos, aunado al problema eléctrico y algunos otros problemas de origen social, creo que este año será todo un reto. Sin embargo; los que estamos aquí, seguimos apostando por un país mejor.

Hoy conocí a mis primeros grupos, los cuales estarán conmigo este nuevo año escolar, espero que todo salga bien y pueda darles lo mejor, lo intentaré, siempre he pensado que los estudiantes no merecen cargar con el peso de las irresponsabilidades de un sistema que no los protege, así que como docente daré todo lo posible para brindarles una educación de calidad.

La tarde transcurrió tranquila, el cielo nos regaló una bendita lluvia que refrescó por algunos instantes el acalorado clima. No sé pudo hacer café ☕ porque no hubo electricidad desde tempranas horas, de hecho terminé mi jornada laboral y aún la electricidad no había llegado.

Al llegar la hora de retirarnos, caminamos bajo un cielo nublado, la lluvia había cesado, las aves danzaban el cielo, los perros ladraban a lo lejos y las flores de los jardines abrían sus pétalos.

Llegué a mi hogar y un gato había muerto envenenado.
