Hi everyone! First time posting in the group, but I love the Discovery-it curations.
I saw a bald eagle today, and, as luck would have it, they were flying close enough to the moon for me to get both eagle and moon in the frame.
I messed around with some different color tones, exposures, and cropping just to get creative and artsy with it.
I like how the moon looks in this one. The eagle is so tiny by comparison, and I only have a 300mm zoom. Any closer, though, and they wouldn't have been in the same shot, I don't think.
I did a purpley one just for fun. Kind of makes me feel like I'm on some other planet. Not that I need to be, Earth is already fantastic enough.
Anyhow, thanks for the opportunity to share. I wasn't sure where to post these, so I'm glad to be a part of this fun, eclectic group.
