I stepped outside today
and it was all kinds of spring.
Sneezy, sniffy, stuffy, puffy-eyed spring.
Everything's turning green, even my dog's weepy creepy goopy allergy-y eyeboogers.
It's great!

Really, though, it is great.
No more sloppy frigid slappy rude wet rain just cold enough to make you truly miserable without bothering to be cold enough to be snow because our winters are mean and lazy.

It's snowing cherry blossoms, now.
So there.

Boogers Neighbor (The crow's name is Boogers and her last name is Neighbor and Mama is her mama and no I'm not crazy dammit this is a highly sophisticated system I developed to keep track of all these buddies.)

It's warm again, too.
I don't have to hide my fingers in my sleeves when I go outside.
And Pilot doesn't have to wear all those coats and long underwear that he hates so much. You know, he curses me out each time I bundle him up and drag him out into the bleak and shivery mist to go wading through the mud so he can make mud of his own.
He blames me.
Like winter is some sick joke I play on him every year for days and weeks and months on end.

But anyway, it's warm and sunny and dry and Pilot's not mad at me anymore and the crows look good in pink and blue and green, doncha think?
