If you are to visit the Philippines, Ilocos is one of the places you would want to go to. Ilocos is a province in Luzon, which is divided into Norte (North) and Sur (South). Though the climate here is warm, you wouldn't notice it if you get caught up with its beauty. Not only the place itself, but with the locals' hospitality.
We had our Ilocos trip just a month ago and I will share the few places we have visited. So what we did was to start from Ilocos Sur then went to Ilocos Norte . Our trip took 4 days and 3 nights.
First stop, Vigan. So from Baguio City, it's a 6 hour drive. Vigan, if you would google it, this is known for Calle Crisologo. So it's a street which still has the old buildings from the Spanish time. It has a lot of lights so if you are an instagram person, it's good to have a photo op there. But of course if you are after those lights , you should be there when it's dark.
So this is how it looks like at night,
(That's my cousin taking his photo)
There is actually a lot of people at night so if you don't like them around in your photos, visit the street before sunrise, there's less.So this is how it looks like,
Here's another photo.
So that's Calle Crisologo. A few blocks from there is their Municipal hall, and every night I think at 7:30pm and 8:30pm they have a fountain with lights show.
They also have this, a castle I think.
There's also another stop in Vigan, just a few blocks again from Calle Crisologo. The Bantay Bell tower.
Next is Paoay, one of the stops we had there was Sand Dunes. The 4X4 ride and sand boarding experience, they have it there. For the 4X4 ride and the sand boarding it's packaged for 2 thousand pesos. Well it's not bad, because you will really enjoy it.
So this is gonna be your ride,
The view from your ride,
And you can also have pictures like this!
It comes in different colors actually, they have pink, green and blue. It's so cute guys. Haha
There's also a beach there where you can stop by.
So I think I have to end it here first, dont worry! I will have a part two of this. Watch out for more of Ilocos! 😊 Thank you for reading my blog! 😊😊
