Hello everyone, hope you are well! Today I want to present you what was my breakfast, I shared it with my husband and we accompanied it with an arepita!
The ingredients are very basic, the truth is there is nothing extraordinary, but the way to prepare it sometimes makes a little difference! it is not the same to eat fried eggs and tomatoes than fried eggs with tomatoes! also in the taste is the magic, it is always essential to have at home those little powders that give flavor, such as garlic powder, adobo, paprika, onion powder.
When I opened the fridge in the morning, what was left of cheese was for my son's lunch box, so I just left a little bit at home. I didn't know what to prepare, there was no ham, chicken, only tomatoes, potatoes and stuff like that! so what do I do? my husband was recording music, he always knows how to solve meals but I wanted to surprise him with something delicious!
For this I used:
2 eggs
1 sliced tomato
Salt to taste
Oregano powder
Garlic powder
Oil (a little bit)
To prepare this omelet, I heated the oil over low heat, added the 2 eggs. Before they began to fry, I placed the tomato slices on top. I also added salt, oregano and garlic powder to taste.
When I placed the tomato slices on top I intentionally tried to break the yolk of the egg.
I covered the pan and opened it to verify that it was not completely cooked so I could add the little bit of cheese that was left in the fridge. Now I did cover it so that the cheese would melt and I could take the eggs out without the yolk being 100% ready.
I added a little more oregano and that's it!
I can tell you that it was very tasty, and to think that it looked like breakfast would be boring! The Oregano and Garlic powder give a touch of flavor and aroma very great!
The magic is in knowing how to combine the ingredients!
