Hello Hivers and Weekenders!
I can't start today's Weekend Engagement post without congratulating 
When I started on Hive, I signed up and didn't put much heart into it at the beginning. I was writing on another platform. And it wasn't until 
And when I started my real journey in Hive, the first community I look at was The Weekend. My first successful publication was here and this community will always be a space close to my heart.
When I first started being a regular on The Weekend Engagement, it had the old format. It was great fun and kept me coming back every weekend, but I can't imagine as much as I love engaging in the Hive what it was like for Galen to follow all those conversations. With the new format, this will be my 20th post of participation. So I can only say thank you for encouraging engagement. Many congratulations!! And here's to the next 100 weeks.
Engagement is key if we want to move forward, not only in the Hive but in any social media project. It is the key to growth.
💯 Engagement on Hive
What does engagement on Hive mean to you and how do you do it? What methods or strategies have you used and what results have you had? Do you feel it has been helpful to build your account, have you enjoyed it or do you feel you'd rather not have to do it?
Engagement on Hive has been the key to not only growing my account but to feeling completely hooked on Hive.
What does engagement mean to me? It means interacting with other users in the blockchain, reading their posts and commenting on them, and not just doing a simple upvote. And true engagement means more. It is to have small conversations through the comments. Creating relationships with those we feel most like-minded.
In less than a year, I have made friendships on Hive that I believe could last the rest of my life. But we also have the great opportunity of establishing a network of acquaintances around the world and these relationships we are making are invaluable.
And definitely, engagement, participation in power up initiatives, and active participation in the communities most related to my interests have been the key to progressing my account.
I have greatly enjoyed being engaged in Hive all this time. I intend to keep doing it as long as life and my duties allow me and having fun in the process. And I hope to keep being in one of those to be one of those positions on the Hive Engagement League list each week.
💯 Doing it differently
What would you do differently if you could start your Hive account from scratch today? What changes would you make to how you present yourself, the actions and activities you have undertaken and methods and processes you've employed. Given that change, what do you feel your account would look like in 100 weeks from today?
If I could start over, I would put effort into my presentation, which I didn't put much heart into when I started.
Otherwise, I think I would do what I have been doing. Interact with other people on the blockchain and be an active part of the communities that most closely match my interests. Having engagement is the key to building up our account and it's fun.
💯Going back to the start
If you could go back and give yourself some advice before starting on Hive what would it be and why?
I would tell myself to take some time to look up how things work instead of letting the unknown overwhelm me. But most of all, I would tell myself not to be shy about asking people I knew with experience in Hive to give me some guidance.
