While clearing the naval blockade, a Skull Crusher ambushed me while my crew watched. After defeating him, I sounded my war horn to call my crew for the final assault. Together, we eliminated the remaining Saxon forces, including a massive Woc-Bringer, and successfully destroyed the enemy stronghold.
Just as things were going smoothly, a Saxon warrior known as a Skull Crusher appeared out of nowhere and launched an aggressive assault against me. He struck heavily and rapidly, barely giving me a moment to breathe or swing back.
It was clear he was far faster than expected and had no intention of dying by my hand, aiming instead to take my life on the spot. I took a significant amount of damage from him while the rest of my crew simply stood off in the distance watching the fight unfold.
Eventually, I turned the tide and began dealing some solid damage of my own, finally drove my weapon into the Skull Crusher and dropped him to the ground.
Only after the threat was dead my crew circled around to celebrate the victory.
With that threat eliminated, it was time to press onward to the other side of the naval structures and destroy them to complete the destruction of the naval blockade.
Once I reached the targeted structure, I raised my war horn and blew a loud blast to signal my crew on the opposite side to cross over and join me.
Before they could reach my position, a squad of Saxon soldiers moved in to intercept me. I immediately engaged the group, cutting them down one by one.
It was not as though I truly needed my crew to win the battle, but they eventually arrived to assist me.
As we fought off the remaining defenders, a heavily armored brute carrying a massive weapon charged into the battle to attack me. The game identified him as a Woc-Bringer, a warrior possessing immense physical strength and a large health bar.
Luckily, my ability meters were fully charged at the perfect moment. I unleashed a devastating special attack directly into him. Although the initial blow failed to kill him outright, it shredded most of his remaining health bar.
I immediately followed up with a final heavy swing. Eivor brought his massive axe down with brutal force, burying the blade straight through the Woc-Bringer's skull to finish him off.
With the elite warrior dead, we turned to clean up the rest of the camp. My crew was already handling the remaining guards, so I jumped into the fray to help clean up the survivors.
Once the last Saxon fell, my crew set fire to the naval structures, and completely destroyed the blockade. With the area secured and the objective complete, it was time to ride back and report our success to Azar.
