Have you ever wanted to be like the cool kids?...throwing around fomo's and fud's with abandon? Well, this post is for you!
We will continue to update this list. Here is a description of some of the terms that have crept into our community's lingo:
-fomo: fear of missing out (re: an investment)
-fud: fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually said to be intentional to put a competitor at a disadvantage
-network effect: the benefits created when more
people are using
-multi-sig wallet: requires more than one key/signature to authorize a transaction
-hodl: holding on for dear life (often used when holding bitcoin etc that is decreasing in value)
-bagholder: someone who has held an investment for longer than they should have (often used in pump and dump scenarios)
-to the moon: to take the price much higher
-fork: copying an existing code set with one or more important changes (thus creating a new coin)
