This is a live recording of Chopin's Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. posth. "Posth" meaning posthumous (published after the composer's death). I first heard this piece from the movie called The Pianist. I think it was one of the opening pieces of the movie and I was immediately captivated by the sonority of the melody. The trailer actually has footage of the pianist (Wladyslaw Szpilman) playing the Nocturne.
This was the final piece in my organ and piano recital that I performed at last Tuesday. I was very blessed to have such an appreciative audience and to be able to perform in a beautiful ballroom.
