Greetings

This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

Now, let's get into this week's showcase.

writermaximus@writermaximus - RANKING RANDOM INSECTS

There are approximately 1.4 billion insects for every human on earth. If not for the fact that they are dumb, humanity would be screwed.
Can you even imagine fighting 1.4 million insects not to talk of 1.4 billion,
some people can't even face one single cockroach.
But even though insects can be creepy, they can also be interesting.
Trust me, I played with bugs a lot as a kid. Well, more like tortured them but you get my point.
I'm very educated on them, which is why I decided to make a short ranking of some of the most interesting insects in the world.

Would you rank cockroaches when they just crawl and when they fly differently too? Well, check out the different rankings of insects you're familiar with.

sperosamuel15@sperosamuel15 - Chop Alone And Die Alone

This man (Man A) was very weak, looking like someone that has been starved for weeks..... Just within five minutes of my entry in the bus, he yawned for Eight times (the ones I counted) before we finally met a groundnut seller.
He quickly reached to his pocket and got two hundred Naira (approximately $0.3) out and bought the groundnut.
He balanced to eat this (you needed to see the preparation this man did just to eat this groundnut 馃槀, I had to adjust to make sure there's no fried rice by the side)

An entertained passenger decided to share and entertain us about his journey in the middle of two karma men, paying evil for evil but in a funny and a little scary way.

gone-hive@gone-hive - THE HAKIMI'S LAW

I have seen over five hundred thousand tweets about hakimi, the man has held the number one spot for a record of two days. I must apologize to Achraf Hakimi- I was not familiar with your game.
Albert Einstein would be rolling in his grave right now because thanks to Achraf,we now have a new scientific law called Hakimi Law. "The Hakimi Law simply states that in a marriage when prenups are not signed and in the event of a likelihood of divorce, it would be wise to transfer and get all of your assets in the name of your Mother"

It's a recent trend but he has had it all thought out and brought up a law that surpasses Albert Einstein rule, one can only wonder if he plans to use it as a guy.

humbe@humbe - Urgent Plea for a "Delilah bootcamp" to prepare Eve's daughters for the Hakimi's spirit!

Surely any man who is a soccer player and a wealth defender by profession is likely to have a trace of Judas Iscariot's gene activated to be wary of any of Eve's daughters when it comes to assets and fortune. Hiba is a disappointment as Eve's daughter because this just shows that she did not consult the Delilah spirit if she planned to walk out of marriage like MacKenzie and Melinda. Delilah gave Eve's daughters notes when she used her woman's power to get Samson to reveal that the secret of his strength was his long hair.

Almost like a counter to gone-hive COM post as this one advocates for the ladies to prepare themselves towards the Hakimi's rule. So ladies, here is a favour you don't have to pay back.

supernova004@supernova004 - PRANK GONE WRONG.

One mistake I made as a kid was pranking my mother. The typical African mother does not have time for nonsense. They are not patient. Having to deal with their spouse, restive kid, running their home, their business/job and dealing with themself can be tedious to them. Their blood de quick hot. And for my Mama who had to deal with the number of boys she had, in my kid sister's words, "her head de always scatter".

He didn't end the story well enough to tell us how it all played out after the prank went wrong but at least, we found out he broke ties with the friend that suggested the prank.
