There's nothing like living on the approach path for a major airport. That conversation stopping shriek of jet engines a few hundred feet overhead, over and over again at regular intervals every single day of the year. Louisville's airport has 'international' in the name but passengers are largely an afterthought, cargo is what it's all about. There's an Air National Guard unit flying C-130s stationed there, but it's UPS's global hub that really keeps the place hopping, during the holidays they've got birds coming in every 3-5 minutes.
"Hey! Take my picture! . . . Oh shit, that's my bus!" Louisville is a hot mess. Still getting used to people wanting me to take their photo but I'm leaning into it.
Speaking of leaning into it. Anybody want a job being floppy? The sign was for the cash advance place, those legal loan sharks just reinforce my suspicion that those floppy doojiggers are actually trying to warn us to stay away.
Does that count as littering or as an offering for the dead? Kind of trashy if you ask me.
I feel like I see this dude all the time and it's always the same fast paced walk while staring at the ground. Don't know how I haven't gotten a shot of him before now but finally managed to remedy that.
This used to be my favorite coffee shop back before the fundamentalist hipster bros went and ruined it. Now it's just my favorite place to get shots of people getting together to stare at their phones.
