Since it's just about my bedtime I figured I'd post one of the sun going to bed. Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah is one of my favorite places to watch the sun go down. You can see for miles and watch as the shadows grow and the sunlight fades in the canyons and along the river snaking below you. As the sun slides behind a distant mountain range the cool night air slips in to take its place. The ruddy sky slowly gives way to the night's black and starry array, and then it's time to make your way back.
